Welcome to CGW Coaching

Building healthy, resilient relationships and mental health continuity!

"My desire is to help others live their life with joy and peace of mind and knowing success--in whatever term that means to them."

I specialize in providing comprehensive relationship coaching that supports growth and development across all interpersonal connections—including those with spouses, family members, colleagues, friends, oneself, or with God. Because mental health profoundly influences relationship dynamics, I thoughtfully integrate mental and emotional health continuity into the coaching process, helping individuals cultivate stability, resilience, and a healthy outlook, allowing one to flourish in life.

I offer guided support in a safe, compassionate, and non‑judgmental environment, empowering individuals to strengthen relationships, navigate life’s challenges, and move toward greater fulfillment and purpose.

"As you reach your goals and honor your progress, your overall outlook on life naturally becomes more positive and fulfilling."

Learn more about Susan...

Susan is the Founder of CGW Coaching (Compassionate Guidance & Wellness Coaching) and brings two decades of experience teaching life coaching, wellness methods, and lifestyle modifications through adult education.  She holds a Bachelor of Science in Human Services and a Bachelor of Science in Holistic Health, and is Board Certified as a Master Mental Health Coach (BCMMHC). Her work centers on relationships and mental health, integrating holistic wellness and spiritual growth to support clients in meaningful, lasting ways.

Susan’s background includes experience with coaching individuals through grief and loss including the wide range of life transitions—such as death, divorce, chronic illness, job loss, aging, estrangement, and other significant changes—while also supporting ongoing mental health needs. As someone who has personally navigated anxiety and depression for much of her life, she is a compassionate advocate for those facing similar challenges.

Her training also extends to serving Military, First Responders, and those in high stress positions introducing the principles of Human Flourishing, and strengthening marriages and family systems. As a Certified Prepare/Enrich Facilitator, she partners with couples to build healthier, more resilient, and deeply fulfilling relationships—reducing the risk of divorce and helping them establish a strong foundation for the future.

Susan also walks alongside individuals who are preparing for a future relationship. She offers practical guidance on becoming the kind of person you would want to marry, equipping you with meaningful tools for this important season of growth and self‑discovery, while hoping for that special someone.  She firmly believes that finding a lifelong partner begins with becoming the kind of person you want to marry.

As mentioned earlier, Susan has spent many years teaching adult education programs.  Her approach started

with creating simple yet engaging curricula, which she then offered to school districts, community centers, groups and individuals.  Susan's clientele has included various Adult Education programs in both Carver and Hennepin County School Districts in Minnesota, Ridgeview Medical Center in Minnesota, Aveda of Queen Creek in Arizona, Anthem Merrill Ranch in Arizona, Cleveland Clinic Indian River County, & Scully Welsh Cancer Center in Florida, as well as numerous other community and cancer centers.  She integrates spiritual care into her coaching process when desired.  Spiritual Care extends beyond the scope of traditional religious roles.  As a trained professional, Susan has provided support for individuals during times of distress, loss, bereavement, and health challenges.
